 Applied Mythology
for a Changing World

Stories shape how we understand ourselves, our communities, and our future.

As a mythologist, writer, educator and founder of Soul Artist Journal, I explore the enduring role of story, symbol, imagination and creative freedom in contemporary life.

Drawing from mythology, depth psychology, contemplative traditions, and more than twenty-five years of teaching experience, my work invites audiences into deeper conversations about identity, belonging, creativity, leadership, cultural change and the human search for meaning.

Whether speaking at conferences, retreats, universities, leadership gatherings or community events, I offer presentations that bridge timeless wisdom with the questions of our time.

Applied Mythology helps us live with meaning in a time of uncertainty.

“My life began feeling quite different after my first experience with Shakti. Her energy and teachings, I will take with me all through life.
